Development
of Human Resources shall be given highest priority
by the Government. The objective of the Government
shall be to adopt strategies to enable its residents
to take full advantage of tremendous employment and
self-employment opportunities that will be unleashed
through the implementation of various economic development
policies. Efforts will therefore be made to reorient
technical education being imparted in the state with
the twin objectives of meeting the requirements of
enterprises from local resources and to improve the
skill sets of trained manpower to improve their earning
capacity.
To
achieve these objectives, detailed scheme shall be
chalked out incorporating role of industry in deciding
curriculum and in management of ITIs, Polytechnics
and Engineering
Colleges.
Special
curriculum shall be evolved to produce job oriented
work force for availing opportunities in the services
sector.
Entrepreneur
Development Programmes shall be organised to help
youth set up their own ventures.
The
role of employment exchanges will be recast to meet
the requirements of industry and in the services sector.
